Is it possible to update props.conf using input parameters taken from a dashboard?

Hello All, I have requirement where we want to take inputs from Super User and update the props.conf file. What approach I am using is to call the javascript where we can take the inputs parameter from the HTML form (dashboard) and update the props.conf file, then reload the configuration files using below command http://localhost:8000/en-GB/debug/refresh But facing difficulties like: How to get the inputs parameters and pass that to our props.conf file? Can any one guide me on this? Or does Splunk have any Application/Add-on which will achieve this? Thank you
